I have always been a strong self-motivator, always able to workout by myself. Of course, I thoroughly enjoy training with another person, but have difficulty in finding a partner than keep on par with my intense workout regimen. However, I have always researched the various means of training that are available to me and how to develop a fitness training regimen that will work for me. It just so happens that I thoroughly enjoy my 10XCircuit training, but that is not the only training regimen I perform. I also perform Hypertrophy, Maximal Strength, Martial Arts, and Sprint work. But, more often than not, I never feel "motivated" to perform my training that day, I just know that even in any technical sport or event, practice makes perfect. And so, I merely practice my training so that I continue to train. Everyone starts from somewhere, fitness training is no different. One must strive to continually practice his/her training until he/she finds exactly what works.
Hey everybody! First post to the 10XCircuit blog!
I have been interested in fitness for ten years now. I was on the weightlifting team in high school. I am working on an Associate's Degree in Exercise Science and Personal Training and two certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the American College of Sports Medicine. I have been a part of numerous sports over the years from baseball to football to track to basketball. But most recently, I have found a great adoration of surfing and power lifting continues to be my main focus. I have begun to train multiple people, my sister being one of the most recent people to have come under my training wing. She receives compliments on a daily basis and really enjoys the workouts I develop for her. So, if you enjoy a challenging workout, no matter your fitness level, I can help you to achieve your best!
10XCircuits are not the only workout programming I can do. I just happen to love these types of incredibly intense workouts more than any other. I developed these workouts after learning of the principles behind both CrossFit and Insanity. Now, I do not particularly care for these workouts, but if you enjoy any aspect of these workouts, my training style is for you. I incorporate much of my 10XCirtcuit principles into my sister's workouts and she has received numerous compliments since beginning my training regimen devised specifically for her.
10XCircuit training takes the intense modeling of CrossFit, setting up 10 exercises ready to go, and then utilizing the principle from Insanity of using very little rest. You essentially perform the 10 exercises and break for a total of three reps, each time through every exercise is a rep.
